Support Policies

Support policy

The CMS Design System team only provides support for the current version and the immediately preceding major version (for example, if version 18 is the latest, we support versions 18 and 17). The current major version receives minor updates, including non-breaking changes and bug fixes. The previous major version receives only critical and urgent bug fixes. We recommend that all teams upgrade to the current major version to get the best experience with the Design System. For versions older than the previous major version, we offer migration assistance, but no further updates will be released for these versions. We strongly recommend upgrading to the latest version as soon as possible after a new major release.
